Circulation Tea (100 g) is a traditional herbal blend from the Herbal Pharmacy “Karmela” in Nova Topola. It is intended for the preparation of a herbal beverage according to the original instructions stated on the packaging, in accordance with the long-standing monastic tradition of collecting and processing medicinal herbs.
Preparation method (according to the original label)
- Place three teaspoons of tea into 6 dl of cold water.
- Boil for 1 minute.
- Let it stand for 10–15 minutes, covered.
- Strain and drink 3 times daily, 2 dl each, half an hour before meals.
About the monastery and Herbal Pharmacy “Karmela”
The Monastery of the Holy Family was founded in 1888 in the former Mittel-Windthorst (today Nova Topola), on the road between Bosanska Gradiška and Banja Luka.
After the Second World War, the sisters continued their life and work in the monastery, becoming well known for collecting and preparing herbal teas and natural remedies.
Since October 16, 2002, this tradition has continued through the Herbal Pharmacy “Karmela”, with the goal of openness, assistance, and trust toward all people.
